Of Vampires, Enchantments and Magic

I'll be adding my latest siggies here, so after I add a lot more I'll just update this particular post instead of making a new one.

Only please bear in mind that I still haven't downloaded any brushes to this newer computer, so until I do.... these are what they are. I also didn't have too many textures to work with. Only today did I find the flash drive that I had them saved on, so hopefully they'll improve from now on.

Just FYI -
My fingers are crossed that the red text in the above siggy will behave over time. Usually red text tends to misbehave by becoming all blurry and ugly. I learned this the hard way a while back, and still I'm not recovered from the disappointment. (Didn't save the originals without the text).

By the way, the text in this siggy are snippets of the lyrics to "For A Kiss" by Venice. Cute song!

Does anyone know the original artists for these two paintings?

Are they not B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L or what?! Absolutely gorgeous.

Once Upon A Time:

I'm excited to see this week's episode since we'll be meeting Captain Hook! I also like that we'll be seeing more of Rumpel before he turned all dark. Whenever he portrays Rumpel back then, I feel so sorry for that character! I just want to give him a hug.

That Robert Carlyle is one wonderful actor!
I'm not a fan of him as evil Rumpel, but I am a fan of Mr. Gold.

Necklaces to Sell

Here are some of the necklaces I made for my sister to sell to her Teacher friends. They're on their way up to Austin as I type! A few of these are one's I'm keeping for myself, and I might not have taken photos of all of the one's I'm (hopefully) selling.

The lighting was pretty BLAH when I took these photos a little too late in the afternoon yesterday. I was so busy making the last of the necklaces (23?) that I didn't even think about how poor the lighting was going to be inside this house come sundown. I think it's pretty obvious I was in a hurry to photograph these as quickly as I could and in little groups. I do wish I at least had some pretty lace to photograph these on. I keep forgetting to look for some.

Someone needs to start taking Ginko Biloba again. Photobucket

Get Well Mom!

My "Get Well" card for Mom, after having to visit the ER while out of town. Thank goodness my grandmother and her cousin were with her!

The card isn't great (I have no diecuts with stamps to match) and was made in a hurry, but I guess it's the thought that counts.

I've been making a lot of jewelry lately, to sell to my sister's Teacher friends. I'll post photos of them in a couple weeks.

An Old Locket, Ring and More

I decided to remake one of my old necklaces, and then make a few new ones. Sorry for the poor photo quality. I need to take pictures of them again, in better lighting. I'm most proud of the necklace I remade, and these photos really aren't doing it justice.

I also made another ring out of a broken 1928 earring of mine.
